As a participating institution in the "Bundesprogramm Sprachkita: weil Sprache der Schlüssel zur Welt ist" (Federal Program Language Daycare: because language is the key to the world), we see music as particularly suitable for reaching children linguistically, regardless of their stage of development, cultural or social background. The variety of sensory perceptions through music offers the children stimulation and encouragement in everyday life as well as the opportunity to express themselves creatively and imaginatively. We give them freedom, space and time for this.
In a stimulating atmosphere, the children have access to a wide range of activities in their daily lives:
- Weekly singing circle with the entire facility.
- Regular visits to the retirement home to sing together
- Participation in the MuKi project with weekly visits by a music teacher
- Daily singing in all groups
- Singing songs from different cultures and in different languages
- Passing on old songs as cultural heritage and taking up modern songs from the interest of the children
- Free and guided/targeted use of instruments
- Connection of music with other areas (creativity, movement, language...)
- Different media for listening to music in all groups
